Famous
for writing Sir Cliff Richards chart topping Saviours
Day along with many other hits on both sides of the Atlantic,
Chris has built a profile as one of Britains classic songwriters.
His unique blend of white soul has made him a favourite
in the world of pop, with Janet Jackson, Donna Summer and Michael
Ball among the many top artists who have covered his songs.
In 2009 he wrote for American idol winner Jordin Sparks.
Chris
has enjoyed a special working relationship with American star
Amy Grant since she first recorded his song Little Town.
In recent times he has toured with her and performed on her albums
and had two of his Christmas songs featured on her No 2 pop album
Home for Christmas. This included Breathe of
Heaven which was voted US song of the year by CCM in Billboard
1994.
Chriss
wife Abby is an outstanding singer in her own right and this opportunity,
to have them together in Cinderford singing all their Christmas
classics, promises to kick start off the festive season in a very
special way. Pastor Tim Cracknell commented, I was thrilled
when they agreed to come. Chris and Abby are a wonderful couple
and have enabled us to make the tickets available at a price to
suit everyone. This promises to be a very special night for the
town and having them to stay over for Church the following morning
is a real bonus.
Abby
Eaton goes under the stage name of Abby Scott. You can look at
her website and find out more about her there, including samples
of music from her debut album.
